There is not much happening in Dresden. Route 22 enters after crossing South Bay (Lake Champlain) from Whitehall and exits at the north to Putnam, hugging the Champlain Valley. This beautiful shot of the valley was taken from a turnout along 22. There are no other roads crossing the southern borders with Whitehall and Fort Ann. Lake Champlain forms the eastern border and there are several roads down to the lake, but none that cross the relatively narrow lake. Other than route 22, there are two rather short roads that come off route 22 that cross the northern border. |

There is one lovely drive up and over the hills that separate Lake Champlain from Lake George. the beaver pond on the left is on a pond up in these hills. The raod drops down to Huletts Landing where another road runs about a mile along the lakefront past the Washington County Park on the lake. |
